Its been a while since I have posted but I hope to be updating the site very soon. For all of you who live in WA and Perth is not too far to drive this weekend being the 17th - 18th the Perth 4WD Show is on. I went last year and was able to pick up some bargains so I Highly recommend dropping in for the days. Details are

January 15, 2007 - XBOX Mod

So recently I purchased an Alpine DVD player for my car. I'm now working on the modification to build an XBox with media center software on it into my glove box. The idea of this is so that I can store in excess of 200 movies on my XBox in almost DVD quality and watch them any time.

July 25, 2006 - Profile Voting

Voting on profiles has now been activated. If you like some ones profile give them a high vote. If you don't like their profile don't give them a vote its as simple as that.

Currently the votes are a score out of 5 with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. When your profile is created, you will have a score of 3 this can go up or down depending on what people think of your profile.

So hit the voting hard people and we can find out who has the best profile.

July 20, 2006 - DIY Ute Hardtop

I have just come across a very neat cheap great looking supplement for a Ute hard top cover. Personally I got a quote of around $900 for a hardtop cover to suite my Dual Cab Hilux. This money I do not wish to spend on a cover. So I started looking else where when I discovered a post that Kamo from perth4x4.net had done.

Below are some images of the DIY Ute hardtop he made from checker plate. If you ask me this looks just as good as any hardtop would on a 4x4. I hope to post some pictures of my version of this hardtop shortly.

Hello again fellow 4x4 goers,

The voting section for 4x4power is now ready to go, we are simply waiting on out 10th profile. Once this profile has been created I will turn voting on and we will see who's ride gets hit up for the best.

June 19, 2006 - Profile Section Launched

The profiles page has been built and is now accessible on the right hand side of this page. Please post the best shots of your 4x4 and show us what you have got. Soon the voting process will begin I plan to open this once we have around 20 profiles.

If you notice any problems what so ever please let me know by dropping an email to josh.haywood@4x4power.net and I will fix these up ASAP. The page is not finished yet, below is a list of features currently being worked on.

June 15, 2006 - Profiles

Ok Guys/Gals,

I have been developing over the past week or so a profile area, this is due to be released this
weekend (17th/18th June) the idea of the profile pages are to show everyone else what 4x4 you have got.

So put as much information about your rig as you want. You will be able to put 1 main picture for your profile (Pick your best) and then you will be allowed another 8 images. Viewers can vote for your profile if the like it. Users will also be able to comment on your profile as well as ask you questions about your profile.

I will keep you posted as to when this is ready to go, sign ups will be free as this page is just for fun.

Welcome to 4x4power.net

This site is a working project I'm hoping to have general chat about 4x4's and 4x4ing in the Western Australian region. Soon there will be a section for picture of the month where you will be able to post your pictures as well as vote on other pictures.
